Penalties

Penalty means a sanctioned consequence applied to a submission or to standing in a race without a full ban or Disqualification, where the facts support a measured response — for example a score adjustment, or a card.

Cards are public. A yellow, red, or black card is shown on the profile. Where the athlete still appears in a table, the badge is shown there too. URX does not keep these sanctions as a private staff-only log. A revoked card is visible only to that athlete. Duration, points, the ban, and rankings are in Cards.

Principle: penalties sit between a proportionate correction and the hardest outcomes (ban, DQ). A card is the published sanction on the account. A race DQ is a separate decision about a result.
