Cards: yellow, red, black

Moderation issues yellow, red, and black cards by hand. Yellow is public and stays in rankings; red and black are bans.

A card is a sanction on the account. Moderation issues it by hand, in any order — yellow, red, or black, including red or black first. A report is a signal, not a trigger: a report does not issue a card, and a card does not require a report.

The reason comes from a published list: GPS spoofing, duplicate activity, someone else's activity, harassment, or other.

Yellow

A yellow card lasts 30 days (30×24 hours from the moment it is issued). It is public: a badge on the profile and in tables. The athlete stays in rankings.

It takes 10% of URX Points on two bases, separately in each league (RUN and SWIM): the rolling 365-day total, and current-season points if you are in that season. The total never goes below zero.

Yellows do not add up in duration. A second yellow while one is still active, or a third yellow within 180 days, becomes red immediately. After a red, earlier yellows no longer count toward the next one.

Red

A red card is a 90-day ban (90×24 hours). While it is active you cannot:

  • take a new race entry;
  • upload an activity;
  • file a report;
  • start an Exempt period;
  • turn on a Shield.

You are removed from all rankings and season tables for as long as the card is active. The badge still shows on the profile.

A race entry in a race that has not reached Results out ends as DNS: no place, no points from that race, and no refund. The medal follows the normal DNS flow. A Shield does not cover that DNS.

Points. An episode is the chain of yellows that led to that red, together with the red. The episode takes at most 50% of the largest total recorded when any card in it was issued — on each base and each league. The 10% already taken by yellows counts toward that 50%. A direct red, with no yellows in the episode, takes 50%.

Black

A black card is a lifetime ban. It blocks the same actions as red. You are hidden everywhere: rankings, season tables, race tables, start lists, feeds, search, and team rosters. A direct link to the profile shows only the black card.

A black card does not cut URX Points. It can be lifted only by revocation or a successful appeal.

A new account opened to evade a ban is a violation, and can itself be a black card.

A ban is not rest

Days you miss during a ban count as ordinary gaps for Discipline. A DNS from the ban counts toward level limits, and demotion can follow. An Exempt period already running stops when the ban starts; unused days return to the league balance. You cannot start a new Exempt period, or turn a Shield on, until the ban ends.

How points move

A debit never takes the total below zero. The 365-day debit lasts one year from the card. The season debit lasts until that season ends. When a card expires, points already taken stay taken. Revocation returns exactly the points that card took — not a bonus, and not the points of another card.
