Race finalization

Finalization means the race leaves Under review and reaches Results out: verification for outcomes that define standings is complete to the platform’s operative standard, and official standings are published.

Results out waits for open disputes of that race. Finalization does not run while any of these are still open:

• an open report on an activity in that race;
• an open sanction appeal by a participant in that race;
• a red or black card on a participant whose 72-hour window to appeal has not yet closed.

Until that moment, the provisional leaderboard and live standings remain subject to change. After Results out, the race record is stable for standings purposes in line with policy. Verification appeals for that race are not accepted after official standings are published.
