Start List

The start list is the list of athletes who hold a race entry for that race.

It answers “who is entered,” not “who is winning.” During Live competition, order and drama appear on the leaderboard and in live standings; the start list remains the roster of participants entitled to compete under the published rules.

After Results out, the start list still records who was in the field; final standings record outcomes for verified results among those participants.

Bib numbers, where used, tie to participants on the start list as assigned for the race.
