Exempt Status

Self-service Exempt pauses progression impact for up to 60 days per registration year from Basic (BSC); consume in one-day increments from your profile.

Exempt pauses how races feed career level (defense / promotion inputs), Discipline, Accuracy, and URX Points tied to verified race outcomes—as defined under Institutional integrity. It is not a Shield and not a ban.

Who can use it

  • Available from career level BSC (Basic, index 2) upward—the QLF stage cannot enable Exempt in self-service.

Quota and timing

  • Each athlete has sixty (60) Exempt days per registration year (rolling from signup anniversary, not the civil calendar).
  • You may spend days one at a time or in blocks, as the profile UI allows.

Self-service

Activation and cancellation are self-service in the athlete account—no ticket required for normal use. Abuse of Exempt to evade verification deadlines may still attract enforcement (Abuse & manipulation policy).

While Exempt is on, you can still race if you enter, but outcomes do not move progression metrics (Appendix A (A.7)).

Exempt and in-race leaderboards

Exempt does not remove you from race-scoped competition math: provisional and live order for that event still follows verified submissions and the mechanic like any other entrant. You are not “invisible” on the race leaderboard because of Exempt.

Exempt does pause career-level progression inputs, Discipline, Accuracy, and URX Points tied to verified race outcomes—so those streams do not advance from races while Exempt is active, per product rules. That is separate from whether your time or distance counts for placement in the race you entered.
