In URX, a league is the competitive environment that sits inside a season—for example the Running or Swimming league.
It frames how athletes move through levels, divisions, URX Points, and league standings so that those ideas stay tied to one coherent structure per sport. A season schedules races; the league is where cumulative ranking and progression logic for that cycle makes sense.
The league is a product construct—not a loose marketing label. Language, standings, and eligibility should stay consistent with that layer.

Institutional Integrity
Governance terms in URX—eligibility, qualification, disqualification, promotion—are used precisely so rules apply fairly and consistently.
Season
A season groups races under one competitive cycle, with clear states from announcement through Results out and official season standings.
