Appeals process

Disputed verification outcomes may be raised through support before the race reaches Results out—deadlines align with Race lifecycle and Structural states.

Appeals as a system boundary

Appeals (where URX allows them) are how you challenge a verification outcome before the race becomes Results out in the sense of Structural states. The boundary is not arbitrary: once official standings are published, that race is closed to new appeals so standings authority does not reopen endlessly.

  • While the race is Under review — disputes may be raised through support where policy permits.
  • After Results outno new appeals for that race’s verification decisions; integrity corrections outside that window follow enforcement and governance paths, not the standard pre-Results appeal.

How to appeal

If you believe a declined submission or automation outcome was wrong—and policy allows review—contact support with the relevant race, submission, and evidence.

Appeals for a given race must be filed before Results out. After official standings are published, that race’s verification outcomes are closed to new appeals (Race lifecycle overview, Official standings).
