This page is the single map for how a race moves through time in URX. Detailed articles in Part IV expand each phase; Structural states defines the official state names (Upcoming, Live, Under review, Results out).
These are different layers—do not collapse them:
| Layer | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Activity | A real-world training session (tracker data, time on feet). |
| Publication | Attaching an eligible session to a race in the product; mechanic rules and floors apply here—mismatches block publication, not automatically DQ (Race mechanics). |
| Submission | The published attempt as it enters verification (automation / manual review). |
| Verification | Whether the submission is Verified, rejected, or held under policy (Verification & enforcement). |
| Result | Verified submissions counted toward provisional then official standings; official result is fixed at Results out for appeals purposes. |
Discipline and similar progression clocks generally use publication timestamps where the Rulebook says so (Discipline metric). Verification timing governs when a row counts as Verified. Mechanics define what activity shapes are eligible to be published to this race.

Suspension & Access Revocation
URX may fully remove platform access by ban for a set period or permanently; athletes may challenge account sanctions through support using the notification rules below.
Race Publication
Races live inside a season and are usually published before the season starts—except Endurance Window events, which go live on short notice by design.
