Andrey Izmailov won the men's Hyperdrive 50 at 4:10; Volkov finished five seconds back, and Cherny took third at his everyday pace. Abramushkina edged Sirota by hundredths. More than half the field joined the league in August, just weeks before the start — among them: rain, sick leave, a bad knee, and a Lahti trail with 2,650 metres of climb. 59 of 85 closed the fifty.
