Scary Run

Classic, fixed 15 km, one run for the whole distance — no accumulation. Scoring follows the mechanic (detail in the Rulebook).

Clock (UTC). The race is open UTC from 00:00 on 23 October through 23:59 on 31 October. Only runs published to Scary Run in that span count.

After the period ends. 31 October closes the live phase; official standings follow later. A gap of a few days before Results out is normal; heavier fields can take longer while verification clears. Provisional order can move until the race is Results out.

Nine days at the end of October for a single clean 15 km. There is room to pick the day; the kilometres cannot be split.

The last week of October is already stacked. Quasar (50 km Multirun) runs through the 31st and closes the same day. Guadalajara (Open) continues into mid-November. Delta (Distance Ladder, 100 km) stays through 20 December. Thunderstorm covers the whole quarter.

• When to run the fifteen — Early in the nine days, or toward 31 October with no second attempt if the day slips. Classic asks for the whole distance in one verified run.

• How to live with the last week — Quasar closes the same evening. Guadalajara, Delta, and Thunderstorm stay live after this race ends. Sparta (42 km Multirun) opens the next day, 1 November.

• Enter vs stay out — A defined 15 km Classic, or no line on this race. Skipping it is a choice that registers.

A completed 15 km Classic is a clean line: finished or not, inside the UTC dates or not. Late entry still works if the run fits before 23:59 on 31 October UTC.

At Results out, the race locks; until then, provisional standings may still move.
