Season 263 is the first with final standings

Starting with season 263, the league has final season standings: whoever earns the most URX Points in the season’s races wins, with men and women ranked separately.

Until now, a season was just a calendar. Every race had its own results, but there was no overall place across the three months. Earlier seasons won’t be recalculated.

Only points from the season’s races count, and your total decides your place. If totals are tied, the athlete who finished more races ranks higher, then the one with more kilometres, then the faster one.

The global ranking doesn’t change. Career level still comes first there, and points rank athletes within the same level. Season standings answer a different question: who scored the most at races over these three months.

A season is won across all your races, not in one. A single win doesn’t guarantee first place, and one bad race doesn’t take you out of contention. The higher you finish and the stronger the field, the more points you get. Every race you finish adds to your total, and if totals are tied, it also helps decide who ranks higher.

Season 263 is over. We’ll publish the standings once results are in for all of its races — the points you earned there are your season. You go into the next one knowing the rules: every race counts, not just your A race.
