Cards for breaking the rules are now in effect in the URX league — yellow, red, and black. This is for a fair standing: a violation now costs your place in the ranking, URX Points, and your reputation.
A report used to be only a signal, and the athlete who broke the rules still stood in the results and the ranking like everyone else. A violation now has a price, and you can see it.
Only a moderator issues a card. A report does not give one or take one away, and a card does not strike a run that has already counted — runs are still reviewed on their own.
What’s better
- A cleaner ranking. A red card drops the athlete out of the ranking. A black card drops them from everywhere: tables, start lists, the feed, and search.
- You can see who races clean. The card badge shows on the profile and in the tables, and an athlete with no violations has “No violations” on their profile.
- Repeats don’t get a pass. Yellow cards add up and turn into a red one on their own.
- You get a right of reply. You can appeal your card within 72 hours, and only you can see the reason.
What earns a card
We want the racing to be clean and the conversation to stay decent. You can get a card for:
- trying to cheat the system;
- faking screenshots;
- entering the same result in different races;
- insulting other athletes;
- some other violations.
The detail is in the league rules.
Three cards
The more serious the violation, the stricter the color. A moderator can issue any of them right away.
- Yellow · 30 days. A warning: a badge on your profile and 10% off your URX Points.
- Red · 90 days. A ban: no races, no publishing, no place in the ranking, and up to half your URX Points from the last 365 days.
- Black · for good. The athlete disappears from the rankings, start lists, and the feed.
Reputation
Every athlete now has a reputation, a scale from 0 to 100. A new athlete starts at 100. Confirmed reports and cards bring it down, and it does not move your place in the ranking. A clean profile says so: “No violations”.
Where to look, and how to appeal
Your reputation level, your cards, and the appeal sit on the main profile page, at the very bottom, in the Reputation block.
You have 72 hours to appeal any moderator decision — the Appeal button. While the appeal is under review, the restrictions stay in force. If the card is revoked, the points that were taken come back. We’re with the athletes who race clean: if a moderator got it wrong, we’ll help put it right.
The Report button
See a violation — tap Report on the run. Every report helps the whole URX community: moderators see sooner where the rules are being broken, and the standing stays fair for everyone.
