Season 262, Day 16

Season 262, day sixteen: 15 April — four races in one daily slice; Barrel and Nairobi match for share; Velázquez shows completed Art totals; temp boards list leaders and cleared targets.

Season 262, Day 16

15 April lifts aggregate distance back above the lighter 14 April line: forty verified runs from thirty-seven athletes, about 347 km. Thirteen runs publish to Barrel 100, thirteen to Nairobi, twelve to Diego Velázquez, and two to Mistake. After a day when Nairobi nearly matched Barrel for sessions, 15 April holds that pairing: the April hundred and the open City race now split the sample evenly, with the Art multirun still taking a double-digit share instead of fading behind.

Long work is spread across formats rather than stacking only on Barrel. Zhargal Bazarov posts the top single line on the hundred—about 19 km—while Ekaterina Hviyuzova leads the Velázquez day on distance with a long Art block and a second shorter line in the same extract. Vladislav Kokorin and Elizaveta Troshkova both land mid-to-high teens on Nairobi; Ilya Muzurov and Aleksandr Rahmetov add verified mileage on Barrel 100 in the low-to-mid teens. Mistake stays thin—two runs in this slice—but keeps pace-locked work visible alongside the larger three.

Live temp tables (separate men’s and women’s lists per race) sharpen the picture. On Barrel, Bazarov sits first among men with distance past the hundred-kilometre target; Troshkova leads women with an over-target line—both read as cleared multirun totals under provisional math, not final results. On Velázquez, several women’s rows already show the full twenty-five kilometre Art distance or more; Natalya is among those at the completed total on the women’s table, while Vadim Terekhov leads men with completion past the nominal Art length in percentage terms. Nairobi ranks by accumulated open distance: Troshkova and Kokorin sit among the high totals in this view alongside other entrants. None of that replaces a results-out pass—it marks where verification has the field halfway through April.

The thread from day six through mid-month still holds: when Barrel pulls hard, Nairobi and the Art line can either compete for share or slide; when the daily total rises again, the calendar is usually splitting effort across more than one deadline. 15 April is the latter case—four races in one scout batch, even shares between Barrel and Nairobi, and temp boards that already list who has cleared fixed targets on the hundred and on Velázquez while Nairobi’s open ladder keeps lengthening. The next question is whether Mistake’s pace lock scales from isolated lines into sustained weekly cadence, or stays a narrow sideshow next to the three larger draws.
